Safety

AGVs operate in environments shared with people, equipment and other vehicles. Safety is integrated into the vehicle design and adapted to its movements and environment.

Safety laser scanners provide protective fields around the vehicle and can dynamically adapt its speed or stop it when an obstacle or person is detected. Depending on the application, additional sensors and perception technologies can provide extended coverage around the vehicle.
Vehicle movements, load handling and safety functions are considered together to enable safe operation throughout transport, picking and depositing operations.

Energy & availability

Our AGVs are designed for continuous industrial operation, with battery and charging strategies adapted to the required throughput and operating pattern.

Lithium-ion technology enables automatic opportunity charging. The vehicle autonomously recharges according to predefined battery thresholds, allowing charging cycles to be integrated into normal operations.
For lead-acid batteries, our patented Autoswap system enables automatic battery replacement in less than three minutes. The exchange can be performed during operational downtime, allowing the vehicle to quickly resume a full work cycle.
