Couriers Please is a leading parcel delivery expert with nationwide coverage across Australia, operating a franchisee fleet of couriers. Founded in 1983 they started as a specialised metropolitan delivery business.

The opportunity to work with Couriers Please came in 2018 through our connections with Interroll as a ‘Roll on Interroll’ partner. Couriers Please also had an existing Glidepath carousel system which had served them faithfully for over 15 years.

The system installed vertical cross-belt sortation system is capable of 5,000pp/h with expansion capability up to 8,000pp/h and with a very diverse product specification, it can sort items as small as 5mm thick and as large as 1200mm in length.

The project was awarded early 2019 and installed late 2019, with commissioning into early 2020  during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in Australia. As a result of the pandemic lockdowns and retail store closures, the industry saw online purchase volumes higher than their Christmas peak period and Couriers Please were able to process the extra load thanks to the Alstef Group solution.
