GLIDEPATH UPGRADES VICTORIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO CATSA-COMPLIANCE STANDARDS
The key to a successful project is good planning, and Glidepath’s work at Victoria International Airport (Canada’s tenth busiest airport) is an excellent example. The Glidepath team, from the outset, were diligent in gathering information, clarifying issues and problems, and gaining a precise understanding of the airport’s requirements, and then leveraging that knowledge to undertake a detailed design and installation of a new CATSA-compliant hold baggage screening system (HBS). The project was completed on time and on budget, despite tight timelines, stringent security requirements, and the challenge of working in an unusually constricted area of a small airport.
“I can attest to the dynamic skills of the Glidepath Systems team and am happy to recommend their services to anyone contemplating a similar project. The Victoria Airport Authority continue to be very happy with the system and all aspects of its delivery.” Scott Cunningham, Director of Facilities, Victoria Airport Authority
